The Inn on the Lake is a contemporary pub, bar, and restaurant that brings together stylish interiors, a fabulous atmosphere, and delicious seasonal menus.

Perfectly equipped to accommodate everything from meals for two to large family celebrations, our beautifully decorated, airy dinning areas will allow you to dine in comfort and style.

The Inn on the Lake also boasts an expansive outdoor seating area that’s perfect for long summer days and warm summer nights.

For those of you looking to extend your stay, we also offer accommodation. Our 20, luxurious en-suite rooms feature flat screen TVs with Freeview, free WiFi, and complimentary hot drinks. When you arise after your restful night’s sleep, you can also enjoy our complimentary breakfast.

Located in Godalming, Surrey, The Inn on the Lake can be accessed by road or rail, or on foot.

The Inn on the Lake is easily accessible via road, with a number of major routes running through or close to Godalming, including the A3, the A31, the A31000, the B2130, and the B3000. We also have a convenient car park so finding a space once you arrive shouldn’t be a problem.

If you’re travelling by train, Godalming has its own railway station on the Portsmouth Direct Line between London Waterloo and Portsmouth. Godalming is also served by a strong bus network – so there are plenty of options when it comes to reaching us by public transport.

In Godalming itself, there’s plenty to see. Known as one of Surrey’s prettiest towns, it’s home to beautiful surroundings, a rich history, and a host of independent shops.

Walking around the town, you’ll see plenty of Tudor timber framed buildings, over 138 listed buildings and 18 monuments. So once you’ve enjoyed your drink or meal with us, take some time to enjoy out delightful town.

Make sure you stop off at the world-famous Charterhouse School, which opened in 1872, and Godalming Museum.
